Your Pets Visit With Us

Any visit to the vet can seem a bit daunting, so we've put together a list of info and resources to help you prepare. 

At your appointment, we will gather information about your pet’s background, health, diet, and training. We can also address any questions or concerns you might have.

Your veterinarian will examine your pet from nose-to-tail, looking for things like heart murmurs, ear infections, and/or parasites. Your vet can also provide pet-proofing tips, training assistance, and parasite protection recommendations.

New Patient Exams 

Your First Visit

During your pet's first appointment, we'll perform a comprehensive nose-to-tail physical examination and spend time getting to know both you and your pet. Together, we'll create a personalized healthcare plan based on your pet's age, lifestyle, and individual needs.

  • Complete physical examination
  • Review previous medical history
  • Discuss lifestyle, diet, and nutrition
  • Review vaccines and parasite prevention
  • Discuss medications and recommended laboratory testing
  • Puppy & kitten guidance when applicable
Please submit your pet's medical records at least 24 hours before your appointment so our doctors and veterinary assistants have time to review them before your visit.

Bi-Annual Wellness Exams

Annual COHAT (Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment & Treatment) 

Comprehensive Dental Care

A Comprehensive Oral Health Assessment and Treatment (COHAT) is much more than a dental cleaning. It allows us to thoroughly evaluate your pet's oral health while they are safely under anesthesia.

  • Complete physical examination
  • Pre-anesthetic bloodwork
  • General anesthesia with IV fluid therapy
  • Full-mouth dental radiographs
  • Scaling and polishing of all teeth
  • Extractions when medically necessary
  • Laser therapy to reduce inflammation and promote healing
  • Pain medication and antibiotics when indicated
  • Discharge instructions reviewed before your pet goes home
