DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Kristin Trerise received her DVM degree from Oklahoma State University in 2000 after earning her BS in Zoology from the University of Arkansas in 1996. While her original ambition was to become a zoo and wildlife veterinarian, companion animals receive her attention these days.

Dr. Trerise enjoys medical & surgical cases for the challenges they present, but her favorite part of veterinary medicine is developing long-term relationships with her clients through a focus on pet wellness. From pediatrics to geriatrics and all ages in between, Dr. Trerise finds fulfillment in being an advocate for a pet’s best health. In addition to her day job at Willowbrook, she is also a honeybee veterinarian, helping to keep local beehives healthy!

Outside of work, Dr Trerise and her veterinarian husband, Dr Martin Trerise, can be found cheering on their four sons at BMX races all around the US and the world (when there’s not a global pandemic). They live on a mini farm with a dog, three cats, two fish, 21 chickens and a colony of honeybees.
