Dr. Christensen graduated in 1989 with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Oregon State and Washington State Universities.  He practiced mixed animal practice in Northern California for a while then moved back to Oregon in 1990 where he continued to work on all animals of any shape and size for 3 more years.  He opened WILLOWBROOK VETERINARY HOSPITAL  in March of 1994.   Focusing on small animals, he has built the practice from scratch into a busy, high quality, health care facility for all small pets.  His wife Cindy and his children (6 +2 in-laws +2 grandsons) are the joys of his life.  Moochi the cat and Maui the dog are his faithful pet companions, and 5 goats keep the brush down around his house.  He enjoys all outdoor activities, especially hiking and backpacking, cycling, and working in his Christmas Tree plantation. He works with a local Boy Scout troop and is very active in his church.
